Cure Wild Meat V2.1

Description
Dangalong's Cure Wild Meat mod adds the ability to cure meat from wild animals and fish into jerky-like food items with a long shelf-life, which are ready-to-eat and can also be used in cooking. Level 5 Cooking is required for this valuable skill. Curing meat reduces the nutrition of the original cut slightly and adds +10 thirst when eaten alone, but will stay good for 60-90 days. After salting the meat must then be cooked to become safe to eat as well as fully cured. Cooking time for curing salted meat is considerably longer than for normal food items. Recipes only work on vanilla wild animals, fish, and frogs for now, except rabbits from UngratefulDead's Hunting mod, and Rabbit Cutlets from my Rabbit Pelt Tanning mod. The salting recipe is also compatible with the salt item gained from Deadend's Canning Mod as well as the base salt. Made compatible with build 34 nutrition system. Added curing of frog meat. Updated 4/30/16.

Dangalong, we should collect n brainstorm viable ideas for MODs and hopefully we can get a community project or two and include others; there's plenty of MODers out there so i'm sure given the right team one could accomplish something cool :)

You should do a MOD for drying non meat food so that their shelf life is increased but not as much as pickling or lacto fermenting. But for someone low on canning/jaring supplies would make a good alternative.

That does sound like a good idea, but I'm not sure how it would work in the game with the current mechanics involving water. Is that really a mod that someone else made that actually works? If so I would like to try it. But if you are asking me to make the mod myself, then the problem is I really have no idea how to make a recipe differentiate between water taken from the river vs water taken from a barrel or a tap. There is probably some way to make it work, though, but that might be beyond my current skills.
