Description
Once in a blu mun I come across a piece that takes my breath away. The picture of the original, which is still actively maintained though originally from 2014.

The ship is one of the most outstanding examples I've ever come across. I had very little to do to update it. I always start a refit by touching up the hull, I removed ramp armor and completed what appeared to be the intended color scheme. I also did a basic re-contour of the hull to smooth out the places that looked like they should be smothed out.

From there, the conveyor network was almost perfect but didn't take advantage of the secondary ports on the missile launchers, which I fixed up, saving a few conveyor blocks and allowing for a few more heavy armor blocks in the bow.

I added refineries, arc furnaces, and O2 prafanalia down in the plenum, and practiced extreme ninjitsu when adding the vents and conveyors I needed. My work in that regard was almost invisible. Because the ship weighs 21k tons, I had to use a mod hyperdrive. I tried to keep previous overhauls stock but found that jumping anything over 10k tons is hopeless with stock jumpies. Because the ship was 90% there from the start, the overhaul took only a few hours. Interestingly, no changes were required to seal the compartments.

All ships need a docking port. The roof was the only location that seemed to meet all requirements, so that's the only change that might be considered controversial.

The reactor output was almost perfectly balanced, but I had to add a few auxilary reactors in the bow to support the new equipment.

ROTOR WARNING: THE hangar doors are beautiful to the point of being breathtaking but use rotors, 4 rotors total.

The game doesn't prevent you from loading it without the mod, you will just be left with a gaping hole aft of the reactor room and no jump capbalitiy. If you fill that with stock jumpies, you might get maybe a 150km jump capability.

Additionally could you upload a version without the modded hyperdrive? A purely vanilla version would be great.

As a note to other creators, this is how you utilize someone else's work the CORRECT way. Ask permission of the original creator, and credit them in the description and use the opportunity to improve further upon the work they started not just steal subscribers. Good work to both Fox (the original creator) and you agrimes.
