I made the town I live in through a height editor program and then tweaked the map. Evansville used to be a bulk Industrial city; still is somewhat and used to be in the old days half marsh/plains. So you'll see that in the map. Thus, it's fertile in multiple spots in the land, has a lot of ore deposits and trees scattered throughout.

Evansville borders Henderson, KY and about ~50-~100 miles to the west is Illinois.
