XNF-27A Swan [Modless Transatmospheric Fighter]

Update:
Added two more batteries and x2 forward and x2 reverse small atmospheric thrusters internally to help with performance. It now accelerates and deccelerates faster, has more flight time and over all performence seems better even with a weight increase to 80,000kg.
Previously I added two extra vertical small atmospheric thrusters to help with lift.
I will be adding it's merge block weapons and parts to the workshop soon.

-Battery powered, uses almost no uranium, has near an hour of full power flight time!

-x4 undernose cannons are highly focused for extreme firepower against small targets!


The XNF-27A Swan, weighing in at 75,000kgs is on par for the largest small ship I've made thus far.
It's Transatmospheric, able to easily make it from orbit to ground and back again, though being battery powered you only have half an hour of flight time at full power in vaccum and about an hour in atmosphere. More then enough for most fighter missions.
It's armed with quad gatlings cannons mounted under the cockpit, all highly focused and a short burst can easily damage or disable other fighters. x4 wing mounted merge blocks for custom missiles, decoys, bombs or any other form of special attacment. Another merge block is added to the top of the fighter for any kind of mission back you can think up. I will be adding munitions and mission packs eventually.
For flight in vacuum the fighter is powered by x8 forward ion engines, as well as x8 others for directional thrust. In atmosphere it has two large and x4 small lifting atmospheric thrusters, a single large one for foward flight and two small on either side to help keep the ship stable.
Also on the first control bar, button 6, is a time block to cycle it's retractable nose gear. It reverses the piston, locks it in place and shuts off the landing lights, if you hit the button again it reverses the gear.
I find over all performance to be slower then my smaller fighters but the over all best for my large, easily a power house in atmo or vacuum against large or small ships.
