Important Information
I don't play this game anymore (though I may revisit in the future), and as a result this guide is not being updated with any new or corrected information. Comments will be ignored.

That being said, it should still serve its purpose well enough.
Modules: North

Start at the City.

While climbing north to the warp point you'll see two big stones with red markings on them - that's where you change your route to the west, through narrow path to top of the pillar. From there, follow invisible platforms south and take stairs down.

Can't miss this one. North and slightly east from warp point.


#3
Go north from warp point, then continue west. Take the teleporter plate and continue to the elevator and through the dungeon. You can't miss the Module in the middle of the room before another teleporter takes you back to the warp point.


#4 and #5
These two are accessible within single underground complex. Go north from warp point, then continue west. Skip the teleporter, press on through floating platforms and down the elevator.


Inside, after small ambush, go left through the wall and use the teleporter.


5th module is right at the end before another teleporter takes you back to the warp point.

Go north from warp point, then continue east through 3-Module Gate. Press on through the dungeon. There will be a room with very narrow path in the middle while enemies will be attacking you. Next room to the north is a small ambush, and that's the room with the Module - go through the wall to the southwest to reach it.

To obtain this Module, you need the laser weapon you get after beating the North boss. Go south from the warp point, fight 8 birdmen, then at the base of the stairs shoot the switch across the gap.


After fight, press north to reach the Module.

This one is locked with the North-marked stones (again, this unlocks after beating the boss). About 25% of the way north from the City, there will be a path through plants and some Dirks to kill.


Since it's dark in there, screenshots wouldn't make a lot of sense, so here's the text guide:
- after stones there are 3 crushers, chain-dash past them
- take left
- path takes a bend upwards, take first left
- this leads into the room, check it's top right corner for gearbit and some enemies, then take middle right exit
- continue the path through another room. On the crossroads, take right. Remember this place as, you will need to come back here
- continue only available path until you reach the switch
- press it, then go back to place I mentioned to remember, take upper path
- you'll reach a crusher. When it returns to its starting position, jump right into it right before it moves off again, as if you attempted suicide. You want it to push you south, there's no wall to crush you against.
- continue until you arrive at the Module. Exit is to the southwest.
Modules: East


Start at the City. Some of the Modules mentioned in this area may not be in optimal order for the first run through the game.

On your way to the warp point. Easy to miss. In the underground passage, dash southwest using platforms on the water.


#2 and #3
Go east from the warp point, then south. #2 is after a fight with a few plant-board-things - head north through the door.


Go further through the complex. You'll enter another ambush room, and while fighting the path to left (and right) will open. After fight, take left path and head down through 1-key door. If you don't have one, you can always easily come back here later.

Take stairs south form the warp point, then the left, unmarked door. Press through the dungeon (you kind of make a spiral in there) and make sure to explore closely and you won't miss this one.

As you come out to the surface after taking Module no4, at some point you'll reach dead Giant sunken in water, with only its head sticking out. Go a bit south from it through the small platforms, then head west and then north (through lots of exploding plants). Shoot the switch on the far left with your laser gun, and continue into underground complex (big fight incoming).

Take stairs south from the warp point, and this time go through 3-Module Gate to the right. Go through the underground complex, after you come out from it, you'll enter a big arena-like platform and will be ambushed. Defeat all enemies then move north. Once your camera pans along with you, walk for few seconds, then you actually have to go back - and kill new enemies that just spawned in the arena-like platform. This will open a path to the left, go first stairs to the left you see (don't go north). This is very easy to miss.


Here, you have a 3 key door hidden behind the crates. There's quite a big room behind it with various stuff to explore and kill.


Hidden path to the left, this leads to module.

Press on where you left off, the Module is after boss fight and is very hard to miss.

Take path to the north (and slightly east) from the warp point. Go through the door, and press on until you emerge from the underground complex.


Continue exploring the platforms. You will find a medium-sized fountain-like building, and to the south of it some fire platforms. Chain-dashing here is a must. Dash through them all.


Once you reach the platform with gearbit, there's a switch behind the small pillar that opens up pathway to the last Module for this area.


So now you have all Modules from this area, why not explore what's behind the 8-Module Gate that was near the fountain-like building?
Modules: West

Start at the City.

Between city and the warp point, after you pass the bridge, head south, and then west throught the hidden entrance between the trees.

On your way from City to the West warp point, you'll go through elevator, then shortly after ambush betwee nthe trees, and another big area south. Once you reach it, keep going south as much as possible through some plants, then west and through another ambush room with swordsmen, then go east through hidden path between the trees. Defeat some more swordsmen to unlock access to the Module.

North of the warp point, go down into the dungeon. Access to this module starts some ways into the dungeon, at the top of the stairs with some enemies near it and a switch in lower left corner. Hit the switch, then go back.


Continue the path that was previously blocked off, and slay any enemies you encounter.


In the room with cells, enter top right one and kill two enemies that are inside (they pop out by surprise). There's a hidden entrance in the wall in top right corner of the cell, where floor tiles lie scattered on the ground.

Go west from the warp point, then immediately south through gap between the trees.


From there, across invisible platforms into the small dark underground "cavern" (I think). Watch out, lots of dogs!

Go west from the warp point. Continue until you get ambushed but lots of enemies, then go south.


Through soldier enclosed in crystal, head south through floating platforms, NPC with dialogue sitting at campfire, and finally by lift down into dark underground complex. At one of the turns there will be usual scattered floor tiles and a hidden path through the wall.


After you exit this complex and head north, you would come to the same place you reach when you choose path north from the warp point (which also leads through underground complex). You can only unlock this shortcut from this side.

This goes on from where you exit from the underground after taking Module #5. Head left through fields with crystal critters both big and small, then push north through few big crystals and another Module.

Start after 3-Module Gate (and other drifter). There will be a path north blocked by single blue plant halfway under the trees, go there.


After that turn east and go through path between the trees, fight some enemies, then down the elevator.

This one is the south path from the crossroads from which south path takes you to the boss door. As you go south and explore, at some point you'll reach a dead end. There will be a building with a soldier enclosed in crystal and a single plant on its left side. Destroy those, and go inside (slightly east then push north) to come out into a small path leading to a Module.
Modules: South
To progress here, you need to finish previous 3 sections first (or at least activated the Big Pulsating Pillars). Start at the South warp point.

Go to the east lift. After entering the underground, head south. Module is in the next room just after boss fight.
Warning: this Module and Module #5 switch their symbols depending on which one you took first. Both are in the same room, but game handles symbols in the same place by displaying them in top-to-bottom fashion instead of left-to-right. If you're missing one of these two and you are sure you took #1, check #5.


#2 and #3
Go to the east lift. After entering the underground, head east. In the next room after the 1-Module Gate, once you reach the first turret, dash off the ledge to the left - there's a set of invisible platforms that lead to the Module #2. Don't bother pressing the trigger to display them, turret will get a piece out of you for standing still that long.


Continue to the room east. Do not rush off with the elevator too quickly if you kept to the west side.. Entrance to small ambush room with the Module #3 is in the northeast corner of this room.

From the warp point, head south as much as you can, then west. There's a set of invisible platforms that lead to underground room with lengthy strip of falling off platforms leading to Module #4. You need to have activated big pulsating pillar to be able to go in.

From the warp point, go to the southwest elevator. Take the stairs to the east, and just continue until you reach the Module. You can't really miss it.


Just kidding, head north from this room to get the real Module. Path will open to the elevator. Make sure to actually go through the door to the north of the room with mini boss. Beating him does not give you the Module, it's a fake! Real module is through the door to the north, in different room.
Warning: this Module and Module #1 switch their symbols depending on which one you took first. Both are in the same room, but game handles symbols in the same place by displaying them in top-to-bottom fashion instead of left-to-right. If you're missing one of these two and you are sure you took #5, check #1.


#6, #7 and #8
From the warp point, go to the southwest elevator. Take the 1-Module Gate south. Continue through the dungeon, you'll stumble upon #6 soon enough.


Next one is problematic to get to. After #6 and taking the elevator, continue until you come to room with two doors out. Pick the right one, and continue until you can press the switch.


Now head back - the new path is open to the right of the door you just went in through.


Continue fighting until you reach another switch and another part of the path opens. Once you reach the south end of the platforms, you'll notice there's a switch - shoot it. Some small pillars will slide down - shoot directly south from that spot to call two moving platforms that'll take you to the Module. Keep in mind that game makes a save after you take the Module, but all the platforms will be shut off, preventing you from going back - you'll have to actually warp back to the South warp point and go through few initial rooms again to reach this place.


Continue north from this complicated room until you reach another boss fight, and a Module after it. Going out from the dungeon from this side will take you to the previously locked stairs on the northwest end of the valley with warp point in it.
Monoliths
Monolith Room - how to reach it?
To reach it you basically have to go back to the starting area. This is done through North area - go north then left from warp point, skip the teleporter, skip floating platforms and press on south. After a lengthy stroll through starter areas, you'll reach the Monolith Room. Remember to use the teleporter on the right side - you will be able to go here from the City anytime you wish to check your progress.



1. North
on your way from city to the warp point, to the right of the base of staris leading north, there will be a rock with a white pillar with green markings on it. There are invisible platforms to the right of it.


2. North
It's a bit further north from number 1. Instead of climbing very broken stairs, take path right, it leads to a birdman hermit nest. Go directly south from there.



3. North
Locked after 3-Module Gate, and is hidden in several secrets within secrets. Starts in the library, after third set of stairs you will be on second left platform of the library. Go left through the wall between shelves right ahead of the stairs. Please note there are two teleporters - one to the north of this entrance (which leads to birdmen), and one through lengthy black invisible tunnel to the south. South one is the one you need. Refer to the image where the tunnel is marked with white lines.


After teleporting, go right through the wall where there's green floor.


4. North
Locked after 8-Module Gate (gate is located north-then-east from warp point), after ambush room with falling off platforms.


5. South
This Monolith is visible before entering area. Accessible through the stairs in the northwest corner of valley, via path between the trees to the right of aforementioned stairs. This one is last to be collected in this area, you can't reach it without going through some bosses and underground rooms first.


6. South
Go to the warp point. Take right lift, go to the west exist of the very first room - there are invisible platforms directly south from there.


7. South
Go to the warp point. Take left lift, then stairs east, follow path south. Monolith's hidden behind a wall, look for characteristic scattered tiles on the floor.


8. South
Go to the warp point. Take left lift, then door south, continue pushing north. Monolith will be directly after module and elevator, through the wall on the left.


9. East
South of warp point, follow invisible path to the north with trigger hidden near a tree.


10. East
North of warp point, there is hidden path behind one of the buildings at the base of stairs (those lead to different area).


11. East
To the right of the big fancy boss door, there's a switch behind the tents that opens up pathway across the water.


12. East
Locked after 8-Module Gate (that gate is located near Module listed as number 8 for East area). Once you go in, and after some fighting, take elevator out - dash immediately to the left.


13. West
Between the city and west warp point, go north through some floating platforms. Monolith is locked behind 3-key door.


14. West
South of warp point, locked behind 8-Module gate. Explore the forest aiming southeast, follow hidden path through trees.


In "new" area go northwest, then follow south into small ambush. After that, invisible platforms take you to the Monolith.


15. West
North of warp point, go down via elevator to the "dungeon", take elevator out that's on the left. Take a path south between the trees, then near campfire go west.


If you have this path south here blocked off, follow the instructions for Module #5 to get to this spot from correct side (choose the option to head north after exiting underground).

16. West
In dark room after boss fight. Entrance to room with Monolith has a faint amber light on the floor right in front of it, and it's about the only thing that glows in there.



Now go back to the Monolith Room to claim your prize!

for the sixth monolith in the south the direction is listed as "West" exit of the first room, which would be to the left, but the monolith is to the east, on the right.

At this point if you take the left platform, from the bottom area you can actually dash to the right platform and get back to the original area
