Description
Mod Id:
658085040

Compatibility
Clean/stackable mod, only adds an item, nothing is replaced or overwritten!

Summary
You will need less narcotics to tame a dino!

Description
An additional Narcotic version specifically engineered for fast metabolisms.
Instead of applying it's torpor effect within 5s, it's time-released over 40s. This means if the target loses torpor very quickly, applying this narcotic will counter act that to a certain degree and you won't need as many narcotics!
You will run out of narcotics slower.
The strength of the narcotic stays the same.

How does it work?
While narcotics are being released (through narcoberries or narcotics), meaning the torpor value is still counting up on the target, it's not reducing yet. So the slower it's counting up, the longer it will take until it is being reduced again. (sounds confusing...but I hope you get what I'm trying to say).

Costs of Production
  • 1 Narcotic
  • 15 Stimberries
  • 10 Tintoberries

Note:Slow narcotics are created by mixing this specific assortment of berries into the narcotics. This can be done anywhere (not in Mortar and Pestle)

Engram
The engram of Slow Narcotics is found at the bottom of the engram list (just use the filter box to search for it).

Console command
To spawn it into the game via console instead of crafting it use this console command (all in one line):
cheat giveitem "Blueprint'/Game/Mods/SlowNarcotics/PrimalItemConsumable_SlowNarcotic_DJCMod.PrimalItemConsumable_SlowNarcotic_DJCMod" 1 0 false

Thanks! The idea is good, I like it! I would be afraid though to make the change now, while there are already lots of people using it.

sure, but it takes only 5 narcoberries to make a narcotic, you use 15 stims . I think something like 3 narcotic + 10 stims + something else would be better. but it's just a thought, the mod is great anyway )

The idea behind the stimberries was, to add something to counter act the narcotics enough to slow down it's effect.

I think you should change the requirements to NOT contain stimberries or stimulant. That's just a bit illogical, right, with stims waking you up and stuff...

Maybe better... bring the number of seconds in a separate file? For example, in GameUserSettings.ini so that everyone can choose the required number to him.

Not that I know.....then again, I'm not playing on a PvP server.

Hi Ampyrius!
Thanks for the feedback! I do usually put a description into the changelog. The empty changes that you see in the log was me testing the mod out step by step before I released it to public. All future updates will contain a proper changelog.
Yes, that should be possible to do for Cooked Prime and Stimulant. For Stimulant I am not sure if it would have the effect on the stamina or if the Stamina boost is always immediate.
