You are welcome, the trees are from the game but i don't know if they are still there...

Thanks for the reply, I may end up getting world creator IDK. I'm getting what I need right now by modifying maps that others have created, and then re-skining. re-oring.

The trees you have in these pic look awesome. Did you make those yourself?

It looks cool. It takes forever to create them in photoshop. I was hoping that it would help with joining the edges of the maps. I'd think they could make the software do that without too much trouble. Maybe it's the way they designed the algorithms that form the terrain.

If it would do that, it would be worth the price. Building planets in SE would be "easy".

I was doing a good job of it in photoshop by being careful about layers, and having the maps extend beyond the 2048x2048, so I had a section to copy to the other map, but I think when photoshop blends all the layers, it's using adjacent pixels, and the end result was world seams. Not horrible everywhere.... but some places, and at first it was seamless, anyways, I stopped having time to work on it, and haven't gone back to try and figure it out yet, too busy.

Hello as you can see in my workshop, i have created a lot of planets using "wordcreator" software bought on steam when it was on a very good sale :

https://store.steampowered.com/app/314730/WorldCreator/

This software is hard to use tho Worldcreator2 is easier and more powerful but expensive

The problem is always the map edges, that's why i usually join maps files with seas or zero heights areas there....

@wolf4243 Did you use a world generator program to help with the generation of the height map? I'm trying to find easier ways to do it than photoshop. Stitching the edges together that way is unpleasant. lol.

You are welcome :-)

cool man. I've used a few of your planets over the years, so if I accidentally triggered a little returning interest in SE for you, I'm glad!
