Description
Mangrove Tree by MrMaison

Introducing my first Mangrove Tree. This tree is good for swamps and shorelines with a lot of vegetation.

Quote from the web:
Mangroves are defined as assemblages of salt tolerant trees and shrubs that grow in the intertidal regions of the tropical and subtropical coastlines. They grow luxuriantly in the places where freshwater mixes with seawater and where sediment is composed of accumulated deposits of mud.

A Known Issue: Trees do not yet have official support for being placed in or near water. Trees will begin to thin out on wet surfaces. So the more these trees are on wet land, the thinner they will look in some cases. This is clearly seen when we are at LOD distance. I'm not sure exactly how it works but sometimes trees are placed in or near water with no problem. Expect an update in the future for better LOD support in wet areas.

Keep in mind that land will dry with time so if you're plopping these in map editor or terraforming new land on a coast, the trees may be thin for a while until the land dries and you will see the full foliage.

The mods included in the list below are strong suggestions to use with this tree for maximum performance.

you can place trees in water without them getting thinned out, with the "no radioactive desert and more" mod. there is an option "no orange and red trees on shoreline".
Sadly it also deactivates shoreline texture.
Just wanted tp say, cause in text it seems, that its not possible to use them in water.

MrMiyagi- I already started a Bald Cypress. It should be done soon.

Doing a group project of New Orleans / Bayou. Will be including this one, any thoughts on the Bald Cypress? I asked Ston3D as well. They grow pretty differently than the one Ston3D made when in water. Wrote a long, long description on his Bald Cypress / Taxodium tree's page, so... would be awesome if you guys wanted to make one. Just started the maps, will take quite a while to make
