Expensive Fines

Description
This mod is no-longer maintained. Use at your own risk.

Increases the fines for offenses to ten times their original value, decreases the chance of getting fined for vehicle collisions and decreases the chance of getting fined for speeding when passing a speed camera.

Fines
  • Car Crash €400 > €4000
  • Avoid Sleeping €150 > €1500
  • Wrong Way €100 > €1000
  • Speed Camera €550 > €5500
  • No Lights €150 > €1500
  • Red Light €350 > €3500

Changed Probabilities of Fines
  • Car Crash 70% > 50%
  • Speed Camera 100% > 90%

Compatibility and Load Order

This mod should be compatible with all other mods as long as they don't change the "police_data.ssi" file.
For best results, place above any economy or map mods you may have.

Possible Issues/Bugs

None that I can think of. This is my first Workshop mod so please let me know ASAP if it makes your game explode!

This mod isn't being maintained any more. It worked using the old fines system that was changed by the developers several years ago.

First i was so happy to have find this mod...then saw you changed the "chances of getting fined". Could you maby seperate it in two mods? :)

Reason for me. I already turned off getting fined for speeding(by police cars), because they fine you so more often then in real life. BUT for me it is not ok, to decrease the Car Crash fine...because in real life you will get fined every time you crash a car (if in the crashed car is i driver present, who could call the loice).

I have no idea, but this is quite an old mod. I haven't maintained it and it doesn't work properly with the new fine system anyway. I would try a different mod.
