I don't know what the issue is brian, you can make a copy of this scenario and see for yourself and try edit what can be causing this - my mind has no leads in this confusion.

yes to tab , 'blue line ' stops at points.

Did you ever press TAB or attempt to go through the signal

the player gets to the hitchen stop and then the red signal stays against the player forever.
