Oh, look, another player expression mod expansion...

This is an extension to the Player Expression Mod that adds support for certain Borderlands 2 themed playermodels.

It allows your character in Garry's Mod to talk under certain circumstances, depending on your playermodel. This adds support for various Borderlands 2 themed playermodels made by the community, featuring actual lines extracted straight from Borderlands 2.

Other than subscribing to this addon, you will need to subscribe to the Player Expression Base and at least one of the supported models. Otherwise, this addon is a total waste of space.

At the moment:

• The Axton, Maya, Krieg, Zer0 and Gaige models included in this pack.

You shouldn't. You should only have to download the ones you want to use and it should be fine. However, I haven't tested this with every combination enabled and disabled, so if you get errors from not having certain ones installed, let me know. Dunno if I'll be able to do anything about it, but I can at least try.

Right now there is no Salvador playermodels available on the workshop since apparently he's hard to rig. I don't know if that'll always be the case considering I've seen plenty of non-standard playermodels with custom rigs, but at the moment, I don't know of any that exist.

Right now, there are:

• Pain sounds. There are separate pain sounds for headshots, and certain sounds are slightly more likely to play depending on which part of the body you get shot in (except for Krieg). I may remove the separate ones eventually since pain sounds play more reliably without them, but tell me what you think first, we'll see.
  
• Jumping sounds. You make a noise when you jump. Not really sure what more there is to say on that one.
  
• Spawn sounds. Announce your presence as you enter the hellish world of Garry's Mod (or something).
  
• Death sounds (I had to improvise slightly with Krieg, who didn't seem to have general death sounds, but whatever).
  
• Lines for running out of ammo.
  
• Ally sounds. Press use on an ally to talk/command/flirt with them.
  
• Enemy sounds. Press use on an enemy to mark them to recieve double damage for two seconds and react to them (I've decided that for the sake of this mod, soldiers are badasses. Deal with it).
  
• Maya also has falling sounds, since I found some decent lines for her.
  
• There are at least 20 murder lines for each character, that may play whenever you kill something (from soldiers to harmless birds).

I dunno, maybe. I was thinking of making a Pre-Sequel addon as well when I was done with this, but for now I just want to check this works first. I'm also very lazy so even if I do announce I'm getting to work on it, it will probably take a while.

There's [DBH-Mo] Sergeant Pan [Bacon] who made a great guide on getting custom models working, especially considering I've barely used lua before this and I managed to make a working addon with it.

EPacker2 for making that huge-ass Borderlands playermodel pack. I have no idea how to rig models or anything but doing that many models must have taken ages. Some of the models in it work with this, the link is above.

MARK2580 who made a load of high quality playermodels with a load of customisation options. Really, those playermodels are amazing, a few of them work with this, go check them out.

Ok, calm down. First of all, make sure you have this, the base, and whichever playermodel you're using that's supported downloaded and installed. Sometimes for whatever reason Garry's Mod won't load all of your addons when you start it, so double check in the main menu. Not much I can suggest there except for restarting the game.

If you have everything there and you're still having issues, leave a comment and I can look into it. Just a word of warning though, it may take a few days to get back to you, since I'm busy with other things. I'm...also not an experienced modder, so...uh...yeah, I may not be the best person to provide support, but a lot of this was made through trial and error, so I can probably figure something out...eventually
