Hey, Author. Is there any manner of how these ranks could be transferred to LW2?

Thank you!

Been in the USN since 1997 myself, and I agree Gnaargh... some of the rating changes are flat bizzare. But you are incorrect in thinking that the training in non-combat that the SEALS got is gone - it's still there, they just have a new moniker to do it under.

Still think MA is a better choice though. Try a random traffic stop sometime, and see if your life isn't in danger these days. And that happens far more often than a SpecOp mission.

I was about to correct you on your ratings/ranks because there was no such thing when I was in the Navy...Good thing I looked it up and sure enough they made SO a rating a few months after I left the service in 2006. IMO it was a bad decision because the old way at least gave them training in something non combat related to use if they get injured or suffer from something like PTSD that would exclude them from law enforcement, bodyguards, mercs, and etc. Anyway, enough off topic...BRAVO ZULU on the mod!

To be honest I would drop the Master Chief and add in Ensign. Though I like what Shardiss mention about using a Chief Warrent Officer, though they are more rare to see. Your are going to rarely see any one over Chief or Lieutenant Commander in field operations. Hell prob rearly see any one over Lieutenant. Most of teh seals I meet while in the Navy where PO's or Lieutenants. Just a break done of seals. There are about 2000 Enlisted persoonnel lead by 500 officers with around 20 Warrent officers.

@Shadriss Thank you for the input, I was thinking about that as of late, and it didn't really make sense for controlled characters to be "commanders" as well. I'll have an update out for this later this weekend.

For reference - STS1(SS). I think you need to drop your O-3, -4, and -5 down a notch to O-1,-3,and -4. By defiinition, YOU (the PC) are O-5 (CDR), so this change would leave you as the CO or OIC with rank to match. Not a huge change, but it would be SLIGHTLY more correct. Nice work regardless - I have a similar setup, though I was using MAs instead of SOs, left out the 3rds entirely and put in a CWO in between MCPO and ENS.
