For this mod to work properly, in addition to subscribing it and turning it on in the Workshop Centre, you need to download this archive[drive.google.com] and unpack it into the game main folder (see README.TXT). It is explained below why this is necessary.

This mod adds some background songs suitable for the atmosphere of This War of Mine.

In particular, the following has been added:

• 9 new home tunes (total: 12)
  
• 9 new home positive tunes (total: 10)
  
• 8 new winter home tunes (total: 11)
  
• 10 new rock radio songs (total: 13)
  
• 7 new classic radio songs (total: 14)
  
• 13 new scavenge tunes (total: 16)
  
• 10 new dangerous scavenge tunes (total: 11)
  
• 9 new guitar tunes (total: 16) - eventually may add some more if I manage to get my guitar back!
  
• 2 new ending songs (one for each type of ending)

It goes without saying that the original soundtrack by Piotr Musial remains untouched, because it's awesome. One thing I did was moving one of his "Scavenge danger" tunes into "Scavenge default" group, because the tune was a bit too chill for dangerous missions.

For the optimal Music experience I recommend using headphones and setting both "Music" and "SFX" variables in game settings to 10.

So the game uses sound groups for pretty much everything. There are separate groups for home music, home winter music, rock radio etc. Each time the game randomly picks a song from the appropriate group. The sole exception from this, however, is the Dangerous Scavenge songs.
For some unexplained reason, these songs have been hardcoded into each and every "dangerous" location. And that means there is no way whatsoever to add any new songs to this category - and for a mod like this, it wouldn't be acceptable, to say the least.
Worst part is that the mods only change several archives in the game, and the archive that sets the locations is not one of them. Which means the only way to go around it is for me to manually change the game code, and for you - to download the archive and replace the one in the game folder with it.

Now of course, if you don't feel like it, you can skip this part - the mod will not seize to work because of it. But you will miss out on few things:

• You will be stuck with only 2 "scavenge danger" tunes instead of 11 (with the third being exclusive to the Brothel location - don't ask).
  
• The "dangerous" songs you will get may not fit the locations they will be played on - because in a "full version" music for each "dangerous" location is hand picked.
  
• Some of the locations that are not dangerous whatsoever will play dangerous songs (examples being Pharmacy and Toy Store).

Otherwise, it's a matter of making backup for two files in the main game folder and replacing them with my versions, and then reverting it back if you will want to remove the mod.
