good source of icelandic names could be found in our sagas (viking tales). don't know if you have time to look that up but strong names could be like Egill Skallagrímsson, Skarphéðinn, Ragnar, Óðinn (Odinn), Þór (Þ is Th in english, so Thor). also good source of names are also in old scandinavian religion in god names like Óðinn, Þór, Baldur, Freyja and such. Good luck with this.
