E.D.G.E. Roverbase

A 750,000kg mobile base using the largest suspensions available complete with Aerodeck between the solar panels for landing small to medium craft complete with landing aides. The spacious wheel well design and built in jacks mean you can replace an entire wheel/suspension system should they become damaged with the aid of an on-board projector. The bridge/crew area is a sealed compartment complete with airlock featuring auto-doors for use on low oxygen or hostile-atmosphere planets and moons.

The E.D.G.E. (Extended Duration Geo Explorer) Roverbase is equiped with cryo chambers and a medbay, allowing for a crew of up to four members on any mission. The primary systems and suspension can operate for most of an average day on the solar panels alone, allowing for charging of the six batteries for overnight operation. Two backup reactors are provided for emergencies. The inclusion of one refinery and one assembler with modules along with an Aerodeck provision for a small miner means resupply can be handled by the on-board crew while the mission continues.

Mods included are not neccasary for operation of the Roverbase aside from the boarding ramp, which is far to useful to leave out, and can be replaced by vanilla parts by the end user if so desired.
