as of this guide's making I have barely an hour and already I'm considered fishing grandmaster (look at screenshots for proof!) so that's another reason why you should trust me and this guide

I will also make other guides of digital outdoor sports once I actually get the games

So yeah if you wanna get good at this game you need to get irl fishing gear

Fishing rod

So yeah here's some fishing rods you guys should get

if you're legitimately a rich ♥♥♥♥ and this is your first time going outside (outside of your $800 1TB modified ipad you little ♥♥♥♥♥) then the rod below is the rod for you, the orvis penn's creek fly rod is definitely for you, because it models a much older version of a fishing rod and it is crafted with the best materials in the world, costing exactly $2,495


For real fishermen

If you're kind of poor then get then get the Shakespeare Ugly Stik Elite Rod 7' version, shown to the bottom left, but get one with a reel combo because reels themselves can be relatively expensive, maybe even outpricing the rod itself

Bait

The best bait for catching monsterous bass is probably Yamamoto bait (Senko types are the best though), shown below, and with it you can catch bass anywhere from 7 lbs and above (b/c that's what bigger fish like)

Profile pic

Would it be strange to you guys that changing your profile picture can help you be a better fisherman and catch bigger bass in Sega Bass Fishing?

Yes it's true, and to be a better fisherman you need an anime profile picture

You think I'm ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, right? Well look at the screenshots in the Bass Fishing hub and you'll see scrubs with non-anime profile pics catching puny 3 lb - 6 lb bass


Also, look at the anime girl and look how monstrous that freakin' bass is, it has to be somewhere around 125 lbs

She caught a bass that big all because she has an anime profile picture (well, of course she is in an anime) and with an anime profile picture, I guarantee that if you go in Sega Bass Fishing you can catch fish as big as what she catches!*

Dedication

Fishing in Sega Bass Fishing requires a lot of dedication and hard work, and it might make your quest for being an ultimate wizard fisherman a rather unfortunate and arduous challenge

So yeah if you're not a good fisherman you should try to be as dedicated as this unknown person below, you'll get good eventually:

Environment requirements

Of course, like any outdoor sport, fishing in Sega Bass Fishing requires a good environment, and a good environment means better bass

If your environment is a small ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ well lol good luck on that the best bass you'll find are pretty ew-looking 6 pounders

If your environment is a large and vast open stretch of water then yeah you will have better chances of getting fish, especially big ones like 12-17 pounders

Also fish near coasts, you'll find a lot of fish there, because fish usually reproduce in shallow water because of the voluminous amount of land


Spots such as the one above are great for fishing because of that reason, and I've caught large amounts of big fish ever since discovering this tip

How you should be in your environment

#1: When you're in a fishing environment, don't go completely apesh1t, be like totally calm and don't do anything disruptive

#2: Be very, very camouflaged in your fishing environment, and with your bait try to act like you're the bait in the school of bass so they

#3: Choose your bait wisely, if it doesn't match the standards of the bass you're going for then you won't get anything

#4: Fish near objects, because bass in this game love to be around objects like boats, bridges, and docks for some reason

Fishing tips

When fishing in Sega Bass Fishing, you really gotta be careful when fishing, and here are the things that could happen:

-If the fish you are trying to catch is too big, you might just break your line and completely screw up (if you're really cocky)
-If you reel in very slowly, then your fish will go away
-If you reel in too fast, like the first tip, you can easily break your line
-When the screen says turn your rod to the left or to the right, do what it says and actually turn your rod to the left or right, you'll regret it later
-Even when you're reeling close to the boat, still follow these tips, because anything can go wrong at any moment


You don't want anything to go wrong when you're fishing, because you need those big-ass bass

Main objectives

Your main objectives are to get the biggest possible bass in large amounts, which in original mode will make you become the ultimate fishing champion, but watch out because ♥♥♥♥ can get real at any second and the computer programmed fishermen in the game

Hopefully by the time you've gotten used to this amazing fishing you will get to be a Sega Bass Fishing grandmaster like me or maybe even better



I've also caught some pretty big 17 pound fish like the one below, which hopefully you guys will catch too, or an infamous 20 pounder if you've unlocked all of the types of bait
