Welcome!
My name is Mark Gellis. I am not officially associated with Matrix Games or Warfare Sims, but I enjoy Command, and I enjoy writing scenarios for it. This is part of my ongoing effort to help those who are new to Command learn the game so they can get the most enjoyment out of it.
This scenario is a very basic Cold War battle. It assumes World War III has started in 1985, and that you are in charge of a small surface action group (SAG). Your job is to hunt Soviet ships and submarines and destroy them before they can get out into the Atlantic ocean, where they could threaten NATO convoys.
Your forces consist of three warships--a British destroyer, a Dutch frigate, and a German frigate. You also have three helicopters for scouting the seas ahead of your ships and for hunting submarines.
As always, I've included an .ini file in the .zip file for this scenario that can be used to update this scenario to future versions of the database. You don't have to do anything with it right now; it is there if you need it in the future.

How to update scenarios to future versions of the database? I'm having problems with the "Tanker Wars" scenarios.... my have hellfires instead of JSM or NSM's. If, after every update the scenarios are messed up, how can I know if a scenario is healthy or completely messed up. Reg. "Tanker Wars": I've found out that something was wrong after 2-3 hours into the scen.... missing these special missiles.

I'm going to assume this tutorial is meant to be played after the basic ones already included with the game? There's a lot of "Do X" with no explanation of how to do X

Would just like to say thank you for these tutorials, they are so indepth and helpful that a game i bought and played for an hour and put down as had no idea what i was doing, I can now do the basics and actually enjoy.

Just an FYI, this scenario is in the base CMANO program with the official tutorials, so it is a little redundant to download it. You already have it....
