Seagull

Description
Somewhere in the Pacific Northwest ...

The region of Seagull is a rugged land of high mountains, rocky beaches and cozy coves. Will you take on these windswept ocean shores to construct a cosmopolitan lotus-land and turn Seagull's evergreen forests into an emerald city?

Seagull is based upon height map data from an area on British Columbia's northern Pacific coast (Hogan Island, if you're curious). However, the landscape has been considerably altered by hand to create better environments for city building. There are an abundance of places to set up a small seaside town or lay out a metropolis.

Inspiration for Seagull came from Long Beach in Tofino, Horseshoe Bay in Vancouver, the world of Bright Falls from Alan Wake, and the Tacoma Narrows Bridge. There are also two large areas sculpted to be similar to downtown Seattle and downtown Vancouver.

Four highway connections, two railway connections, two sea routes and one airplane route.

Feedback and comments welcome and appreciated!

https://imgur.com/a/ba5PjRG I love this map, I'm still pretty early with designing this ridiculous skyline but I wanted it to feel like the PNW meets New York meets China. I used to make paper model skyscrapers and make skylines like this about ten years ago. I named it Nootka and it's the fictional megacity of an independent Cascadia. Even grabbed a screenshot with a seagull in it as the original is Seagull hahaha

Nice map. I typically use vanilla tree remover and started this map without thinking and there were no trees. It took me awhile to remember that mod.

I think this map is excellent, and I've been building a great city on it. However, while the cargo trains come in fine, no passenger trains are coming into the city. Is there something wrong with the map?
