Just did not find a way to get the elevator back up again, but can be finished by using portals, nice map.

The point is that the cubes are unneeded. A few portals get rid of the turrets and give access to the pedestal buttons that open the door and lower the elevator. One more portal gets you up into the glass corridor and you're out. It was still fun getting to the right place and doing all that.

The cubes don't solve the puzzle, they simply deactivate the laser grids. The idea is to take out the turrets with either cubes or portals, then open the exit.
