Beach Head 2

Description
A off shore oil well is located on a remote island near the coast of Normandy. This refinery was seized by Nazi Germany and is now under military control. The island shores have been converted into shipping docks. The plan is to harbor its new oil reserves for the war effort. British Military Intelligence has learned of this secret base and have alerted Allied Navy into position. However, the Germans too are routing Naval forces to ensure a strong defensive against this invasion. It is likely that both Axis and Allies will dock on opposites sides of the isle. Each must enforce the strongest possible Beach Head to prevent the opposing side from holding the vital oil resources- Thus changing the tides of war in favor of its victor. This is "Beach Head 2" by JaysonV.

hello everyone glad you still find this map fun to play. @faxma4033: I dont know or havent tested this map with any mods and Im sorry i cant give any support on whatever mod you might be trying to use. @ Ernst Zundel: I wrote to Xray that he could use the ARTILLERY thats up there not man the GUN platform

But anyway, this map is the happiest MAP I've ever played on. Because there is a mysterious cave can be a side attack effect, very good. There is an effect that can change the situation of the battlefield in the face of a stalemate and an unfavorable situation.

Hello, author, I have a question about whether this map does not support the addition of some mods. When I used a mod, there was a flash backoff. At first, I thought it was a problem of the game, but when I entered the game again and opened the mod again, I found the flash backoff still appeared

@JaysonV This is a great map, full of details, and clearly had a lot of work put into it. I had a lot of fun defending the oil platform and building fortifications on the beach. You mentioned, back in 2015 answering a comment made by the user Xray, that it is possible to man the gun platform on the German battleship, however I found no way to do so. Can you clarify how to do it, please?

I'm revealing TWO SECRETS about this map. 1). There is a large cave on the left side of the map leading North and South on the island. If you Put troops or tanks into the entrance... they will teleport to opposite sides. (Good for surprise or sneek invasions) 2) Likewise, There is a small (hidden behide bushes) tunnel on the right side of the map leading North and South on the island. If you Put units "troops only" into the entrance... they will teleport to opposite sides as well. I call this tunnel the map "Easter Egg" because it is hidden from plain site so well. @Starbuck...Thanks!... I think its a COH2 fans dream to play a D-Day or BeahHead type of map where there are ships involed, so as a mapper what do we do?... we get creative and make are own to play with...lol

@Xray, you can get onto the gun platform on the large German Battleship and use the artillery
