Space Elevator

I spent a few hours this morning making a space elevator. I couldn't figure out a way to automate the process so I built 30,000 meters worth of blocks reaching into space from the planet. I had to do this 100 blocks at a time or so. When I got to about 25,000 meters I actually had to start using merge blocks because there's apparently a limit on how big a ship can get. I then constructed a tram, which was actually the hardest part. Getting a vehicle to ride up a square post without breaking Space Engineers' (fragile) physics was no small feat. I then continued to update the design this evening and arrived at something that worked beautifully. At the end of the video you can see me ride off of the end of the space elevator and shoot into space. And I got there without any rockets or thrusters! This has NO MODS it is just standard default space engineers, didn't use anything from workshop either.
