This mod is depreciated. Although it will work, there are numerous other mods out there that do this, and more, with different values. I created this mod before I understood the mechanics of the game and nature of traversing at extreme speeds. PLEASE, use another mod.

Large Ships are capable of getting a "Jump Drive" which allows for instant travel between extreme distances. They don't need to go 600mps.

Game collission calculation between two objects is still buggy at speeds above 100mps Although the game will normally allow you to go slightly above that value, the player should not go at this speed, as there is a possibility that the game will CTD, the collission will clip, and then the calculations will be made, or alternetively, no collission damage will be calculated, and the ships will harmlessly bounce off of eachother.

This was uploaded purely for the purpose of being able to set my world to Friends Only, and have them enjoy the fruits of my labor. Servers can only be set to multiplayer if no local mods are installed, so, this mod is publicly hosted within the workshop.

All this mod does is modify a single file, allowing larger ships to travel to a maximum of 600mps, and small ships to travel to a maximum of 200mps.

If you play with friends, and want to travel great distances, feel free to subscribe. Otherwise, there are plenty of guides to make, and modify this file yourself.

Cool, yours is one of the only ones with an actual description which makes me think it is a bit more trustworthy. Cause I was gonna say, what's the point of building a carrier if your carrier is significantly faster.

The main reason I made larger ships be able to go so fast is because I didn't know the jump-drive existed.

This mod was already depreciated before it was uploaded. There are significantly better ones out there already, and ones that can change the skybox.

Shouldn't that be the other way around? Small ships going 600?
