Sound Mod: Magmacow's M1 Garand for Hunting Rifle

Description

THIS ITEM IS INTENDED SPECIFICALLY FOR LT. ROCKY'S M1 GARAND ADDON, IT WILL MOST LIKELY NOT FUNCTION PROPERLY WITH OTHER MODS.
THIS MOD DOES NOT INCLUDE THE MODEL ASSETS, ET CETERA, OF ROCKY'S MOD. IT NEEDS TO BE DOWNLOADED IN ADDITION TO THIS MOD.

This addon replaces the hunting rifle's souds with Magmacow's M1 Garand sound set[gamebanana.com] from Gamebanana. I have his permission to upload these sounds, however, if he wants me to remove them I will.

In order to make these sounds work with Lt. Rocky's release, you must either subscribe to this item first or edit the addonlist.txt so this mod loads before Rocky's mod.

Credits as transcribed from the original Gamebanana page:

Magmacow - Constructed Sounds
DICE - BF Series Sound Assets [BASS HIT/RELOADS/PING/FALLOFF]
Project Reality Team - P.R. Sound Assets [BODY/RELOADS/FALLOFF]
Obsidian Entertainment - Fallout: New Vegas Sound Assets [BODY]

(Stark Raven - Sound editing to fit Left 4 Dead 2's format, Incendiary shoot editing)
(Valve Software - Incendiary shoot burn effect)

If you experience any sound errors (high-pitched noises, strange noises) on a frequent basis and can trace them back to this mod, let me know so I can see if I can fix whatever is causing the problem.

You'll find the addonlist.txt in your Steam/steamapps/common/left 4 dead 2/left4dead2 folder. This lists all of your game's installed addons and sets priority. In the case of a conflict where two mods modify the same file, the addon listed earlier in the addonlist.txt will override the addon later in the list. In short, you need to put my mod before Rocky's mod on the list to get these sounds to play instead of his.

If you look in the left4dead2/addons/workshop folder, you'll find the addons, as well as corresponding preview images. Use the preview images to figure out which number is Rocky's mod, and which number is mine, then edit the addonlist.txt as I described above.
