Description
Vicus Elbium 1.0

This map Is a Custom Eastern Roman Empire large city / fortress map. First of its kind this maps a fortress for this huge city is multi leveled and has a second level of defences defending the final quarter of the city. Attacks have multiple ways to aproch attacking this city depending on if you want to challenge yourself or not too and 3 main capture points are spread throughout the city, one blocked by the last level of defences in order to get to it. also thier are 2 other minor points as well throughout the city to optionally capture as well.

AI as usual still persists its usual problems so the rules still are same, no bastion onagers and try using catapault artilary to destroy the enemies defences as well for AI too when he attacks and also AI just may act a bit odd too but as always im trying to find ways around this to see what I can do for now to the AI until CA patches this.

This maps inspiration was helped by a player that told me to try a fortress / multi leveled city map like from medieval 2 so I thank the idea suggestion for helping me a bit more to think of developing a map like this.

> go to custom battles
> select cities
> under presets menu scroll and youl find the maps name

Srry man it cant be fixed at the moment, Im trying to figure the bug with it but progress has not been made yet unfortunatly as everyhting ive been trying so far has not fixed it yet but me and some other moddders know its possible its just a matter of we dont know what to do to make them work or what the devs exactly did.

I love the map but it irritates me that units cant move on the walls. Why does it do this and could it be fixed with different walls?

Hey Doomon, I've been looking to make updated battle maps for Age of Charlamagne, and I was wondering if you could show me the ropes of TED? I used it back with Shogun II but is has been so long now that I've forgotten how much of it works, and so much has been added now that I need a good run down.
