Description
For those who want to focus on repopulation as part of their policy. This mod is currently in the works and aims to reduce the time it takes for a child to age up, make more kids overall and start off with more coloins (survivors) upon game start.

INCOMPATIBLE WITH:

- Nobody Hurts, Nobody Dies
- Sticks and Stones

For the sake of game balance... It was also causing several problems with over poopulation and not being able to keep track of your survivors as well as adding to larger and larger stacks of survivors as the game went on.

children aging so slowly is annoying, but either version of this mod seems to lead to immediate overpopulation. urgh. /necrothreads while she necromods

@LazyDwarf, i made a second version of the mod that might quell some of your worries:

You won't start out with the epic number of survivors but you should still get a bunch of kids.
Hope this helps a little bit if you're interested. ^^

I'm trying to find a way to increase the food storage you get in the beginning of the game but I've yet to find a code to do that. I made another mod called Plenty of Room which works pretty great with this mod and will save you space on the map to build farms. So that might solve some problems in regards to housing (i also plan to release multiple versions of Plenty of Room for different amounts or survivors per house)

Currently the codes we've been given by the developer are the only things we can mod. I would LOVE to do more (making your own faction, making your own religion and making custom buildings to get rid of the manotny would be AWESOME). I'll try to find some more stuff for this mod to make it work better. As always, if anyone has any suggestions or modding experience that could assist this mod, feel free to let me know :)

The only problem i have with the mod, and sadly the reason i deleted the mod, was because, well, starting the game with atleast 25 survivors, eating somewhere around 75 food per day, and 50 food in stock isn't exactly a ideal situation. I hope you can fix this. Maybe starting off with less survivors and more food could fix this a bit?

Other than that i simply loved the mod when i had it on my current save and got to see Baby (yeah, my survivors are great at names...) grow up and become a scavenger (something i very much needed at the moment too!).

Yeah, i always got annjoyed with how slowly the children aged. I like this element of the game because it adds a sense of realism to the distaster your survivors have experienced.

Of course, this is one of my first MAJOR mods (as in, it has a lot more coding and i want to make it more complex than the other ones). So there's always more room for improvement and I'm open to any suggestions and advice when it comes to modding. If you have any advice for this mod or other mods of mine, please feel free to let me know in the comments :)

If there's a bug you want to report, report it in the discussions titled 'BUG REPORTS'

If you want to leave a review of this mod (srsly Valve, please make a review section for mods), a forum will be set up for that soon enough and you can post a review there. :B1:

I'm looking forward to trying this one out, i've beaten entire cities without having a single child age up.
