Avialae Drop Ship V-TOL

Description
DUE TO RECENT UPDATE I HIGHLY ADVICE NOT TO USE THE V-TOL SYSTEM (1)
KEEN HAVE DONE SOMETHING TO ROTORS, AND THEY SIMPLY JUST FALL OFF!

Greetings, fellow engineers.

This time, Azimuth Industries and Tartaross Inc. are proud to present to you their first collaboration ever, the V-tol Drop Ship Avialae.

And as allways, here are the features it provides:

* DX11 compatible
* working V-tol-drive (WASD)
* high level of detail
* flys pretty stable
* monitoring script that is updating itself every 5ms to keep you informed about your ships poweroutput
* piston driven landinggears

And as allways the manual to make operating this ship easier for you. This manual can also be found ingame.

I hope you like it. If you do so, be sure to slap that like button, hard. ;) Also, check out our other items on the workshop and give them some love. :)

Cheers and keep on engineering

And it really is a shame because these ships (yes ships, the Omega Transporter + Cargo Module have the exact same problem) are extremely well built.

for reference this is that other ship.

What are the thrusters used? I think this needs a serious update because when I tried to load it said there were two mods that apparently don't exist. when I finally got it loaded the thrusters in the photos were missing.

2 of the mods doesn't exist anymore, just to tell, hope it doesn't mess up the build

Yeah, advanced rotors have their own issues. They seem to be fine on stations for the most part, from my own experiences.
But on ships they have caused me a few issues.

i tested my ship later in MP and even the advanced rotors blew up.... so it seems that only fixes in SP.

but did the advanced support piston as well? We built it with a piston and rotor setup with merge blocks. when we used advanced rotor it kept on exploding

make sure to use advanced rotors for VTOL, they can't detach so they work fine and wont disconnect, the original rotors have the option to detach/attach the head, so the game thinks it's normal when they come off. i've remade my VTOL with advanced rotors and they NEVER detach like the normal ones did.

Checked my vanilla VTOLs, everything normal ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
