B2A3 - Spirit of Freedom (v1.967 Compatible)

Описание
Top speed: 111m/s
Cruise Height: 462m

Payload:
80 x IR APN guided magnetic 6 stack HE Bomb

Feature:
8 x flares ROF 2f/s (Retractable out of combat zone)
Opening/Closing Bombays
Retracting entrance while in flight

[NEW]Water start balloon deployment
[NEW]Onboard cameras
[NEW]LUA Bomb support
[NEW]Laser Anti Munition System

Developed for carpet saturation of surface targets. All bombs guide themselves on to target and arm themselves 10 seconds after deployment. Bomb bays have added LUA support however bombs do not currently use LUA.

Control Scheme:
T - Throttle Up (Hit T to restore forward drive after yawing)
G - Throttle Down
Y - Yaw Left
I - Yaw Right
H - Roll Left
K - Roll Right
U - Pitch Down
J - Pitch Up

A3 Variant:
Survivability has increased significantly with the following additions: heavy armor has been added above and below the engines; ammunition stowage been removed from the top of the vehicle and kept to the outer wings; reflector shields added to the belly of the aircraft; a short duration LAMS has been added; and an overall higher flight ceiling.

Flight performance has been improved with the use of PIDS and ACB drive factor control of both left and right engines. Meaning the aircraft flies smoother and yawing has significantly been improved. Water start is simplified with the addition of balloons.

Material storage and detection equipment requirements have been added. Two 5x5x5 Palisade Engine 4400 by sosu2357 have been added for a total of 8800 power.

HOWEVER this aircraft still currently utilizes the now [DEPRECATED] FUEL PROCESSOR. If you plan to use this aircraft in a more official capacity it is recommend these components be removed and replaced with additional fuel. The fuel processor has been left in purely for operator convenience.

NOTE: Because of the new detection mechanics in FTD the bombs are no longer detectable by munition warners and as such cannot be directly intercepted by CIWS or LAMS and will not themselves trigger flare deployment.

NOTE: This however does not mean the bombs cannot be destroyed. Stray anti-air or large caliber munitions can inadvertently strike and destroy a bomb. Given the destructive force of large high explosives, this will cause a chain reaction which will destroy the underside of the bomber. Ammunition is stored away from the bomb bays to discourage the bombs from being targeted by anti-aircraft fire.

NOTE: Given the nature of accurate bombing and more so when carpet bombing, the aircraft must fly level and straight over the target. This will dramatically decrease survivability - especially during bomb deployment. This is when the bomber is most vulnerable as heavy anti-air may destroy and chain react the bombs.

NOTE: Given the space and power constraints of the aircraft the on board LAMS is NOT design to withstand sustained and heavy bombardment. It is only intended to assist survivability in the few moments that it is closing overhead the target. It is able to destroy at most 3-4 detectable CRAM/ADV cannon shells as well as 4-6 incoming missiles if not out run them completely.

NOTE: It is therefore imperative to soften the targets anti-air defense when expecting heavy anti-air.

NOTE: Given the higher flight ceiling small fast moving targets are more likely to completely dodge incoming bombs and are therefore outside the scope of this bomber abilities.

NOTE: DO NOT DROP BOMBS UNLESS THE BAY DOOR IS COMPLETELY OPEN. You will get a bomb to detonate inside the aircraft this way. This will not occur during normal operation, but will if you spawn a target to close to the bomber before it gets the chance to open the bay door.

WHY don't attacking?

@roorider i have the same problem with any highspeed aircraft that i build, it just doesn't care where it's going and max altitude is a non-existant thing.

It kept flying into space???

Nah the SR-71 is lame. Its just a REALLY fast airplane, used mostly for recon. But I have thought about building the B-1 Lancer. That's a really fast airplane thats drops bombs at least.

also if my commenting is annoying just tell me XD

Hey leet
have you ever thought about making a SR-71
ik irl they dont have any defenses but just try to make one with some missiles Btw did you know that your b2 is one of the highest rated things on the workshop
so if you make a SR-71 as good as it your sure to have high ratings, try to get it going around 300m'/s i know that sounds rediculous but trust me its very possible with some sneaky rotor blades and alot of big jets on spin blocks, good examples of this is the F18 super hornet from muni and almost all of the fighter jets from video games! plus you have no compotition bc none of the SR-71s on the workshop are very good

@NyanNation Can't go higher than 500m. Air-density begins to drop causing the custom jet engines to lose power. At alitudes above 500m you'll need ion engines as far as I am aware.

I also feel like the altitude needs to be tweaked to make it higher, it's just too vulnerable to dedicated AA guns
