NOT COMPATIBLE WITH CURRENT VERSION OF FotE.
No plans to fix it ever as slower battle mods expose Attila's cavalry bug which cannot be fixed.

Mercenary Celtic Axe band and Mercenary Celtic band are absolutely OP because they are missing the nerf to their combat stats. I don't know if other units are modified but so far I've just noticed these 2 are not. Their armor is too high as well tho, 34 which this mod may have not tinkered with. The armor itself would not be a problem though, but they have 40 attack value and 78 defense for the axe band, both units being Tier 1, while the Protectores Domesticii, a tier 3 roman heavy sword unit has 20 attack , 81 defense and 71 armor

I haven't played any battles with vanilla FotE so I wouldn't know exactly what was wrong. But battles are still pretty fast, like 1 full stack vs 1 full stack took a total of 8 minutes. That still seems pretty short to be honest. My was kinda expecting like a full 20 to 30 minutes of brawling. Is this normal or did I fuck something up? I load this submod higher than the main mod.

I knew something was wrong, using the mod manager fixed the issue. The CA launcher isn't so great when running multiple mods...

Doesn't seem to work as advertised for me. The units run at a reasonable speed, but combat is an absolute blitzkrieg slaughter still.

slower battles makes battles more morale based than before, personally I recommend you to play without this submod
