Description
MynoCorp Technologies is proud to present:

Canteran Handmade Technologies

Did you ever were confused why the Canterans are "suffering" a Food shortage?
Did you ever Noticed that their Habitations are full of Food?

Time to react!

Due to Trade agreements with MynoCorp the Canteran Habitations are now able to produce small amounts of Station Materials.

Changed Stations:
All Canteran Habitations

Added Products:
Reinforced Metal Platings - Yay!
Fusion Reactors - Finally!
Biooptic-Wirings - Got cha!

Added Unique Canteran Production Methods!

Reinforced Metals require Ore and Nividium and will receive an enormous Boost from Chemicals ans Refined Metal.

Fusion Reactors are made from Nividium and receive a Boost from Refined Metals, Quantum Tubes and Microchips.

Bio-Optic Wiring just need someone who watches them growing, but receive a Boost if Chemicals and Plasma Cells are available.

Time for Lunch... Canterans will eat a lot more Food Rations while somehow 10 will always left over.

Installation:
Start a new Game and enjoy or follow instructions below.

Installation 2:
Set this Mod active and load a Savegame, make sure you are not Landed on a Canteran Habitation!

All present Habitations will disappear, now Save your game and reload.

All Habitations will now be rebuild and have the Technologie to Produce very, very, very small amounts of Production Materials.

Don't expect Miracles, the Canterans will Produce what they need, with Materials they can get their Hands on.

WARNING!:
Make sure you deactivate any Mod that keeps Stations Destroyed during the Installation Process.

Support:
I am able to answer Questions in English and German, please prefer one of these Languages.

Strange Things:
This Mod will cause odd Masstraffic, such as PMC Surveillance Crafts in DeVries.
Starting a new game with this Mod installed won't... somehow.

Credtis:
UniTrader - for his non-ending patience with my questions.
BlackRain - for the final clue that made this Extension possible.
EGOSOFT - for X

edit: you have to extract the zip file in your extensions folder...

Download this and place it in your extensions folder.
Make sure you have disabled the CHT Mod and you are not docked at any Habitation.

CHT Removal [drive.google.com]

This MD should remove any existing Habitation from the Map, after that you will have to save your game and reload it.

All Habitations should be rebuild and initiated with their vanilla states after Loading.

I do not know if a new installation will be possible, use at your own risk.

Sorry but I am confused... what setup md file? This mod's folder only has 3 files: a content XML, a .cat file, and a .dat file. There's absolutely no instruction on uninstallation of this mod explained anywhere that I can see. :(

simply remove the stations from your game, refer the setup md file.

save your game after they are removed, reload the game and let them initiate by your removal MD file.

Note:
it needs to have a different name and cue name.

weird side effects may be strange mass traffic in the zones with the new / old habitations.

Question... is there anyway to uninstall the mod (and reset the Canteran stations back to their default state)?

I am attempting to import my save game files into a XR factory complex calculator called "X Rebirth Build 2" (it's a Russian tool that I helped translate). My old saves from XR 3.0 imported fine, but my new save from XR 4.0 throws an error everytime I attempt to import, and I suspect this mod may be the cause. :(

Already have :) Something must have gone whack in my version as they were producing at around 1/2 the rate of a normal station and it made the economy very unbalanced. Nice to have somewhere to dump extra goods though

Feel free to make any adjustments you need in wares.xml
(requires X Rebith Tools and a Xml Editor)

Standard Production is:
3 Fusion Reactors every 900 Sec (excluding Bonus)
10 Bio-Optics every 900 Sec (excluding Bonus)
25 Reinforced Metals every 900 Sec (excluding Bonus)

and 10 Food every 300 Sec (consuming 1210 Food)

By the way... Production of this small Amounts is already as expensive as Possible.
The Canterans really, really waste a lot of Resources they get into the Habitations.

Been using this for a while - it's completely revitalized devries. The only thing I'd change is either making the habitats use more resources or produce less goods

i realy find this mod usefull to start a empire in DV and is just like DV is a blank canvers so the fact it make it so much easyer it ( WOW ) so great job :)

Partially, the Shipyard still demands Products that have to be imported or Produced in DV.. but if the Habitations are supplied they produce all what you need for Station Building..
