OpenGrid Medium Exchange

Description
Part of the OpenGrid project.

This medium sized telephone exchange was built in the 1970's back when telephones were a telephone line's primary use. In 2001 this exchange was modified for internet use, with the installation of over 100 DSLAM's this site was ready to spread the joy of the internet over a small area.

However, ADSL2+ is the best this exchange can cope with. Neither capacity nor budget can justify an upgrade to Fibre technology, and because of the limitations with DSL technology, the reach of the exchange is not far.

Cool idea for a mod creator, ISP Mod, you can use different types of cable lines, DSL, Fiber, and coax. You need to build the infrastructure and the internet speed will make Cims more happy. Just an idea for a more advanced mod creator.

I think something like this would look good with a big microwave antenna on top.

These things have a tendency to be the tallest buildings in small town main street/downtown/center areas. I wouldn't mind it being an early game commercial building, though it would awkward if they spawned all over the place.

Would you consider changing these fine buildings to low commercial or make alternate versions? Functuality-wise it just makes more sense to me than a park -- your call of course.

Regardless I really like the work you did on these buildings. Also appreciate the historical background you give in the description -- very interesting! And thank you.
