Well, I think, the thing with Caucasus, is that there isn't really a right way to do it. I think Rome by the Euxine did a great job, considering the limitations, but I agree it could be improved. I have some ideas too, for example adding a couple more states in Dagestan, a couple more in Circassia, and I have an idea about Hereti. Anyway, text me, when and if you decide to do it.

Hi Moloch, I've sent you a friend request on Steam. Any help regarding research for north Caucasia would certainly be appreciated, I did notice a few inaccuracies in Rome by the Euxine which is why I've reverted Caucasia to vanilla (except for Ossetia) until I have time to do the region properly.

I'm also trying to implement the Darial Gorge but everytime I add it it looks slightly wrong.

I do feel like I'm missing out on new stuff though, with all the vanilla game updates, but I know they still haven't fixed the Caucasus, so it bums me out. If you ever plan to tackle that particular region in future, and need any help, you can always ask me. I haven't ever modded EU4 before, but I can learn. I've been developing my Caucasus mod for CK2 for the last 2-3 months, I had to learn modding from scratch, and I think it's coming out alright, although a bit clunky. I doubt EU4 is much harder to mod, so I might be of some help.

When I checked your mod (it was probably in early summer), I didn't notice it, but now I just realised, that maybe you've included the Balkans changes, and not the Cauasus changes. I remember I just checked on the Caucasus, and it was like vanilla. Not sure, if the changes weren't there, or if you've already removed them. I just wanted to say, that, being a north-caucasian myself, I simply can't play the vanilla game with such poor representation of my home region, so I'm still playing the 1.18.4 version with Rome by the Euxine mod (cause it wasn't updated).

Hi Moloch, I had included it in my mod but I have removed it for now, instead opting for the vanilla map for the area (although there are still a few vestiges of it left it). I plan on doing a proper overhaul of the region, probably after I've had time to do my French update.

Hi, I saw on the forum, that you were gonna include the ideas from the mod called Rome by the Euxine. Are you planning to or did you decide to not go through with it?

I've just updated the mod to 1.24, I haven't made as much progress as I would have liked and I've reverted some changes I had made, but university has been keeping me very busy.

I see in Scotland you have Lowland Scotland being of Scots culture and the highlands being 'Scottish'. Really the highlands should be of 'Gaelic' culture.

SAJMON: You will be pleased to know that Kashubian culture has been added, including the nation of Kashubia.
Williamspurr: No, both mods change the map and are therefore incompatible.

The mod will be updated for 1.19 sometime over December, I would have liked to have released it sooner but unforunately university work gets in the way.
