Description
Adds Maelstrom to the game
a weapon based of the dwarven warhammer

this weapon can be considered OP but not broken im still working on balancing it.
if you buy any of the upgrades it will be broken so if you are looking for a weapon to reach wave 50 endless
upgrade this one and you will reach it
(the one shown in the video is the fully upgraded broken one)

stats :
unlock cost : none - this weapon is unlocked by default

primary attack
damage : 30/80/100/120 (depending on upgrade)
range : 1000
attack time : 1.1 second

secondary
damage : 12.5/40 (depending on upgrade)
energy cost : 12.5 per tick
area : 600
speed increase : 100%
lifts any enemy
unique upgrade : 95% damage reduction while spinning

note : the unique upgrades seem to be bugged for now the last bought unique upgrade will apply not both
also icons and model are the same as the dwarvenwarhammer since im not an artist but a programmer

note2: this weapon ONLY work for the warmage at the moment since the sorcerres doenst have the animations for the weapon

if you encounter anybugs while using this mod please let me know and ill try to fix it

Um... I know you said Sorceress won't work but when I choose this to go, the character selcted is ALWAYS the Sorceress, so I go to choose warmage instead. It kicks me out when I click character. I tested to see what would happen if I didnt select this mod to run, and cthen click character. It works fine. How to turn mod on AFTER I choose Warmage?

Ok, it was probably problem on my side... Yesterday it crashed multiple times and I wasn't able to do anything about it. Now it all works just fine. Sry for bothering you. I hope you'll continue at your hard work and bring us some more awesome content :)

I like the way Maelstorm works :)

Oh, I see, first of all TY for such a quick reply.

For the crashes... I tried 4 different maps and it crashed every time.
I'll try it again a pay close attention to don't disturb any circumstances you mentioned here.


For the "mod support"... ya, it's sad and I think it's goin to kill, or criple at least, the modding community, which is super sad :(

I'll report if the prob occurs again.

@挽回 im familiar with the character switching crash, since its tries to save your curent character which is something it doesnt do when playing with mods, as for the map loading i dont have any ideas, maybe you are playing with the sorceress since this item is warmage only altough that shouldnt crash it, mind telling me what map crashes you (unless its every map)

also i cant update the mod with a fix if i knew what it was since valve changed the mod system which broke the mod updater you can only upload a new mod rather then updating your previous upload otherwise id have updated it to work for the sorceress as well so thats a bit sad

hI, really interesting item, but crashes my game iindependently on any other mod. :(
If I click on Chracters button or try to load a map as current char it crashes in a few seconds. Any ideas on how to make it work?

perhaps...did they apply an update that crashed compatibility with your mod? :steamsad:
