The Godswords of Gielinor (Runescape)

About:

The Godswords of Gielinor are a collection of two-handed swords based on the Zamorak, Saradomin, Bandos & Armadyl Godswords from Runescape. Ever since I had made the Saradomin Godsword back in 2013, I have been asked to create the others but never got around to it. During that time, Jagex, the owners of Runescape updated the models of the swords to give them unique appearances. Many fans of Runescape prefer the older versions and some like the newer ones, so I decided to make both sets for people to enjoy.

What this mod includes:

Zamorak Godswords
Successful Power Attacks have a 100% chance to trigger Ice Cleave, which freezes multiple Enemies solid for 10 seconds.

Saradomin Godswords
Successful Power Attacks have a 100% chance to trigger Healing Blade, which restores 75 Health to the Player.

Bandos Godswords
Successful Power Attacks have a 20% chance to trigger Warstrike, which for 25 seconds increases damage by 100% and reduces the Armor Rating of Enemies.

Armadyl Godswords
Regular Attacks have a 5% chance to trigger Armadyl's Judgement, which for 10 seconds Increases Attack & Attack Speed by 50%.

Each sword has a base stat of 25, which is +1 higher than Daedric. They can be tempered at the Grindstone and upgraded to the newer model under the Steel Category of the Forge. They can also be changed back into the previous model by re-smithing.

Do NOT optimize the textures! Some maps are purposely uncompressed!



Obtaining:

To the North of Whiterun is a place called Whitewatch Tower. Within the grounds of this area is a trap door, which leads to Gielinor's Tomb. You will need to navigate through the short tomb of Gielinor and solve a minor puzzle or two. A few enemies may stand in your way. Take Lydia, she'll look after you :)





Installation/Uninstalling

Subscribe by clicking the Subscribe Button. Same to Unsubscribe.

READ: Before complaining that this doesn't work, please check the following:
1. That you subscribed whilst OUT of Skyrim
2. That Steam actually downloaded the file
3. That it is correctly checked in the Skyrim Launcher under "Data Files".
4. You have enough disc space

READ: If you suspect this file is crashing you:
1. Ensure you have sufficient VRAM for Mods
2. Download the lower resolution version




Questions:

Q. Why are the Godswords under the Steel Smithing Category?
A. This was done to give everyone the opportunity to use them, without needing Daedric Smithing.

Q. I don't like the updated model, can I change it back?
A. Yes, take it to the Forge and use the new model to forge the old.

Q. Why are the gems missing from the Saradomin Godswords blade?
A. I felt they looked out of place, so I didn't include them.

Q. Are the Refined versions better?
A. No, they have the exact same stats and effects. It's purely visual for preference.

Q. Can you make this do this?
A. No, I'm tired and need to play Witcher 3 :D

Known Issues:

- Sometimes the Guardians don't spawn exactly where I set them. Annoying.
- "Ice Cleave" from the Zamorak Godsword sometimes misses, this is just due to positioning.
