Subscribe to your own map, and look for the file in the computer once it is updated locally. In my case the file is at C:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\workshop\content\312530\489383992, but do a windows search for your map name, or for *.lev files and you will find it.

Actually I think I'll start improving other people maps, which I like but need just a tiny amount of work, for instance add a weapon, add a timer to kill everyone etc :D

And now I've found out I can't even edit the map since I don't have the files on this computer :[

Oh I always play on local, so I do have the chaingun and armor. But the chaingun is so slow for the huge map, it needs jetpacks and grenade launchers up high, I dunno.

I do maps too and learned the hard way some don't work online :P

Worst part is one of the main gimmicks of the map doesnt even work ;~;

And you're supposed to start out with a chaingun and some armor, but nope. Equippers dont work for some dumb reason. Neither do wire mounts, so poo poo, time to edit!

This map is huge in a bad way and lacks weapon diversity. Rounds las forever.
