The Aquila

The Aquila is a premium vessel built by the top engineers at Magnitude and Direction (MAD).

It's primary function is that of exploration and space faring, alhough it can be adapted for cargo carrying or light military applications such as scouting.

It can be commanded by a maximum of four crewmen, allowing you to travel the stars with coworkers or friends.

It is armed with a selection of forward facing cannons and two side-mounted turrets. Although The Aquila sacrifices armour for speed, so it is not recommended to take it head on into any serious engagements.

A key feature of The Aquila is it's atmospheric flight capabilities. The ship possesses powerful VTOL thrusters and large wings, making it effective in planetary conditions.

Please do enjoy exploring and using this ship. My brother and I worked collaboratively and poured many hours into this. We didn't expect how much of a challenge building a ship like this would be, but we are very pleased with the results.

My brother Sauying built half the hull and decorated the exterior, while most of the interior work and some of the hull was done by me.

Please note the ship is oxygen ready, so you must use the airlock to get onto the ship. Simply get into the airlock, and depressurise/pressurise it using the buttons inside. Just wait for the light to turn red or green respectively before you open the door!
