Just for fun, I played thru the intended way; did what I expected, and explains another mechanic I hadn't used before...

Was able to ride the gravity beam, by swapping portals and timing the switch between pull/push, to the upper level and the pedestal button that triggers the cube emitter. At that point it's just chance that once the cube is flung by the fate-plate, it bounces off the "target" wall and falls into the exit area. Sometimes the cube falls straight down into the acid; then just keep trying (worked for me the first time). Maybe you could trigger a fizzler as well as the flip-panel with the laser receiver? Hope that helps...

dmuk: Thanks for playing! How did you get the regular cube without using the lens cube to redirect the laser? I'd like to fix that exploit.

..not the way you planned? I didn't use the lens cube as a lens at all, just dragged it over to the exit after getting the first one in place. I like the "modality" of the various sections of the puzzle; make you plan ahead more (well, some).
