Security Team

Description
A collection of security team members from an Elfen Lied tribute I made in RPG Maker VXAce. There should be a 4 x 2 GCI collection of security guards as well as some PNG sprites of the guards, a supervisor, and a sampling of SAT (Special Assault Team) troopers. Included as a bonus is the Janitor who cleans up the mess.

Security and SAT clothing and items can be found in the Security Gear Workshop download. I would like a mention in a project if you find something helpful, but otherwise feel free to use them how you like.

As long as you use subtitles in addition to their normal text... I have such a hard time understanding all that 'security guy' speech.

I hope they make you smile and help you with your project.

how about using them for a game thats politically incorrect towards african american transsexual security guys with one leg and a speech impediment ? :steammocking:

thanks for teh packs ... i think i'll end up rendering from models and thumbnailing but i need something while dabbling to keep it fun :lol_tk:

I'm not 100% sure on the legal answer. If you are just making a game for fun I don't think anyone would care and I certainly won't mind if you use any of the security guys.

Overall, I think that GCH created characters are only for RPG Maker products. That means if you use the default templates (which are supplied by Enterbrain to GCH), they don't want you creating games for other products. However, if you just use GCH to make your own models and characters like any other drawing program you're fine.

While the Security Team that I have posted here is original, you can see that I have used the model bodies and hairstyles for some of them from the GCH templates. That might be a problem. Using the uniforms or the helmets or the bodyarmor on a sprite body that you create (even if it matches the original template to fit the movements) might be required 'legally'.

I wish a had a more straightforward answer for you. It might be better to check on the forums specifically.

You did great work.

I have question, can I use them using another engine except RPG Maker?

@bigguns199, Along the right-hand side you will see the Usage notes. These sprites are listed as Editing allowed, Distribution Allowed, and Commercial Use. Also, as mentioned in the description, use them any way you wish, though I would like my name mentioned somewhere if you use them and I'd love to hear about it, that is entirely up to you.

Feel free to use these sprites any way you wish and even modify them however you want in your project. Obviously just don't claim that they're yours (unless you alter them, then you can claim the alterations are yours). If you use them in a game and make tons and tons of money... that's all yours.

stupid question, are they royalty free or are they only for non comercial use?
