Auction Hunters

Description
Storage units can be big money but also a big gamble. It's not just what's inside that counts, you've gotta get it for the right price. Will the other people be interested in this unit, is that guy just up bidding you? Play your cards right and you could walk out as the big winner.

The winner of the game is the player who has the most money after all 10 auctions by combining the actual cash they have plus the value of any storage units the player may have purchased.

How To Play

Play: At the start of the game all players are given $1500 in cash (10x$100 bills, 10x$50 bills). Once all players have their starting money shuffle the deck and get ready to begin the auctions.

Lockbox: One player must be in control of the Lockbox in order to make change for players when purchasing Storage Units.

Auctions: There are 10 total auctions in a full game (5 in a half game). To begin an auction take one Storage Unit card and place it on the Auction area. Keep the card FACE DOWN at all times. Once the card has been placed in the Auction area players may start shouting bids using the in game chat. Once the auction is over the winning player takes the Storage Unit card FACE DOWN and adds it to their hand. Make sure all players are ready and begin the next auction.

Bidding: The starting bid on all units is $100 and the minimum bid increment is $10. Example, Player A has the first bid with $100, the other players must bid a minimum of $110 to outbid Player A. Players may bid anything they like as long as they have the cash available, storage units purchased do not count as cash. Things can get a little crazy with people shouting bids using chat, if more than one player shouts the same bid the first one to say it in the chat is the one who's bid counts, everyone else must make another bid of at least $10 more if they would like to try and take the unit. Bidding is OPTIONAL. You do not have to bid if you do not want to but if you say a bid in chat that bid is in play, you cannot take it back. When one player makes a bid that nobody else can can beat that player wins the auction and takes the Storage Unit card FACE DOWN and adds it to their hand.

End: At the end of 10 auctions all players add up their cash and the total value of all the Storage Units they have purchased together. The player with the most value (cash+Storage Units) is the winner.

It is very much like the show Storage Wars on the History channel, the premise is very much the same.

I like this idea, this sounds like a lot of fun and I can't wait to play it. I love original ideas being developed on TTS and also love the inspiration comes from those storage locker shows on television. YUPPPPPP!
