高松城　Bitchutakamatsu Castle

Description
The siege of Takamatsu is famous for being flooded by the Oda; resulting in the surrender of the garrison with the Seppuku of the castle lord Shimizu Muneharu (清水宗治).
Shimizu saved his soldiers with his honourable suicide. Since then Seppuku has been identified as an honourable death.
(The map is the non-flooded version of the castle.)
