A.I. Rescue Relay

While the standard Comm relay was already well recieved throughout A.I controlled and supplied areas, they were not well situated to maintain any sipwrecked engineers who may come across them. The Rescue relay helps alleviate this. It has two backup batteries, eight solar panels, a small backup reactor and two oxygen farms. Its oxygen tanks have two bottles each filed and ready to go to supply any engineer who can make his way to the relay. Its cargo hold also contains materials to build a small beacon and solar panel to signal where a wrecked crew may be. If worst comes to worst, the relay can be remote controlled and act as a life boat for a single engineer to move the relay closer to a wrecked crew or to get back to a manned station. ALthough cost prohibitive to deploy at every junction, every fifth relay is now a rescue model, which shoudl put it within range of any space engineers who may need to get to one. As it is a humanitarian craft in nature, the ship is not locked out to anyone regardless of their faction. all materials are free to use.
