Description
JAPAN (MEIJI)
Unique Trait: Imperial Restoration
During a Golden Age, Culture, Faith, Production, and Science modifiers in the Capital are shared with other cities (up to the difference). Can expend Daimyo stationed in the Capital to begin a Golden Age.

Unique Unit: Daimyo
The Daimyo is the unique Great General replacement for Japan under Meiji. This unit can be stationed in a city to provide different effects depending on if a Golden Age is active. During a Golden Age, cities with a Daimyo stationed in them divert their Military and Combat Unit Production modifiers to the Capital. Outside of a Golden Age, newly trained Land Units begin with doubled starting XP instead. Points toward your next Daimyo are also generated as Great General Points in the nearest city when constructing Tile Improvements and acquiring new Tiles.

Unique Unit: Mikasa
The Mikasa is the Japanese replacement for the Battleship under Meiji. This unit unlocks earlier than the Battleship (at Replaceable Parts) and receives a +25% Defensive bonus as well as doubled Movement when beginning its turn within your Coastal borders. However, it is also 10% more vulnerable to Attack when beginning its turn in an Ocean tile. In addition, cities constructing a Mikasa generate Golden Age Points equal to the city's Production output. However, the more Mikasa that you have ever and are currently constructing, the less Golden Age Points you generate. Use Mikasa to quickly scout and defend your lands from foreign invaders from across the seas.

This civ starts with 30 policies from the start of the game. Besides that a good design.

I'm assuming this is a dead mod? Doesn't show up in the select screen, and all the solutions below no longer work.

I do not get the extra culture and production form golden ages, but I do gain the Extra XP. Also I earn more social policies for some reason.

I'm not getting a bonus to culture and production during golden ages. Aside from the standard one. I do get the +15 xp though.

Also, the Mikasa doesn't give any golden age points if it only takes 1 turn to produce. Is this intentional?

i have solved the problem by restarting the computer and resubscribing the mod. It took me a whole night to solve it

it´s weird, all the other JFD's Civilisations work well on my computer besides this one. I downloaded it and I have chosen it in the mod menu, but I don´t see the leader if when I am setting a new game. Even weirder, if I play another civ with this mod on, I can actually spawn the uu of this mod using IGE. So sad I can´t play this mod, it looks quiet interesting.

Unsubscribing and then resubscribing to the mod helped for me, at least.

Leader not showing up in Leader selection menu for me as well. Is this fixable?
