Please note: this mod is required for loading a savegame created with this mod.

Details:
Buy the terminal for 100d. Equip terminal to device port. In space, activate terminal for 10 skill points. Each activation will give you 10 skill points. This is to allow you to quickly 'recreate' a character that you lost due to game corruption or other issues.
Please do not spam the comments about 'cheating'.

It would be nice to have enemy ships have chance of dropping memory implants. Which can be used to get a skill point. Maybe have pirate bases and hives drop 5 implants.

You buy the terminal at a base. It may not appear much if your already leveled up a lot since its a low level item.

If your playing the same character in a new game (plus mode) then skill points no longer work. So get your skill points before you go into new game plus mode.

The developers changed the way skill points work. This mod 'does' work, but you will not see the accumulated skill points until you level up next time.

It really should not have a problem with working unless the developers removed the ability to add skill points from the available commands. Its happened before so it would not surprise me too much.

Last i checked (yesterday, after the update) the device did nothing when activated.

I have not looked at this mod in a long time. Its probably possible to add more cost to using the device, but that would add complexity to the script, and not really something I want to do. I would have to make sure you have the required cost first, then remove that cost from the player before giving the skill points. I like it simple as it is now.

You can make a separate mod with 2 such devices? But that one activation took away 1000000d - 20000000d and the second points of science.

Actually, i never looked at the multiplayer side of things, yeah, you're right on that. but last i checked, bearly anyone played multiplayer for some reason.
