Baneblade (Project EVE)

Officially, the Nightmare class Juggernaut is the largest space faring warship ever constructed. Unofficially, project EVE, or codename Baneblade, was the largest space faring warship ever to enter construction. This ship was originally built as a colony ship, but after the Antares Crisis, it was immediately redesigned into a massive warship. At the time they were being built, (there were two) Pirates staged the most devastating and swift raid in space history, on the Kiashkish ship yards. One ship was almost immediately destroyed, but the other one, which was far closer to completion, was captured by the Altair Regime Pirates. Even though the ship was half complete, it was flyable. The ARP since has reversed engineered the weapons on board and made it their own, "City Ship," a flying base. At any given time, it holds hundreds of vessels, including Mutilators and Scavengers, and thousands of pirate residents. As of yet, it still has very weak armor plating, since for the most part it was just a space frame. However, every cooridnated attack on her has resulted in total failure. Since the first encounter with the Pirate redesign, it has claimed 5 destroyers, as well as 2 fleets worth of ships and personnel. Even the Nightmare itself was pushed around by the vollies of seemingly endless mutilator strikes.
