thanks- yeh just seen a post by monty on xlnation saying Today the community mod and furniture pack were deleted from Steam Workshop for unknown reasons. If you can't run the game try this:

1.Download the community mod and furniture pack from this site. Place both patch files in your Paks/mods folder.
Dependency - Cities XXL Community Mod | XLNation - Cities XXL
Dependency - XL Nation Furniture Dependency Pack | XLNation - Cities XXL

Go to this folder: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\workshop\content\313010

Delete all the folders there.

It did the trick for me.

@nicko. Hiya. It looks like a whole lot of mods were removed from steam and they are now only available at xlnation. I couldn't get any cities to load and ended up deleting them. That was even after loading a shed load of mods from xlnation! Oh well, I get to start a whole new world...

Not sure what's going on @bullet, seem some authors have removed dependancy mods etc from steam workshop- I can't even get my sticking game to load. I think i might have to unsubscribe - re-subscribe to mods

Looks fantastic. I really want to use it but it crashes my game. I have community mod from xlnation, but just can't get this working. Any ideas?

thanks for the nice comments, took me a while to re model and map this one. Interesting you say it looks like Cooper House in Santa Cruz? - when I search that building it looks nothing like it :)
Anyways my models is based in Australia Tasmania.

Reminds me of the former Cooper House in Santa Cruz, CA also built in the 1880's. This building looks fantastic in the game. Love all the details. Thanks!
