Description :

This mod adds death reasons to historic characters with links to their murderers (if possible).


Historicity :

I've tried my best to be the most historical possible, although some reasons are a bit "shakespearean" (like Donnchad the first killed by Mac Beth).


Features :

- Death_reasons for most of the de jure kingdoms/empires rulers
- Family tree expansion for persian dynasties (Buyids, Ziyarids, Bawandids, Samanids, Saffarids)
- Historic files changes for these persian dynasties (k_khiva, k_baluchistan, etc.)
- Historic files changes for old frank, saxon and visigothic dynasties (k_burgundy, k_aquitaine, k_andalusia, d_mercia, d_somerset, etc.)

I did not updated my mod for the last DLC (Horse Lords), but I probably will for the next one. At this moment, history files can mess with a lot of things, even with vanilla files. But if I understood your problem correctly, you should just open k_scotland.txt in the titles files, and remove the line about Ciniod (763.1.1={ holder = 166583 }.

This mod conflicts with another great mod callled Titlular Pictland which: replaces Ciniod's de jure Kingdom of Scotland [Pitland] title with a titular Kingdom of Picts title in the 769 start date (to more accurately reflect the political instability in the region at the time). The Kingdom of Scotland title is not removed, just unheld in 769. The conflict is that with your mod enabled, Ciniod holds both the de jure and titular titles. Is that something that could be resolved?

@chebonaparte : The mod only focus on historical characters that are already dead by the time you start a campaign. Nothing will change after your game's start.

BTW, I'm working on an upgrade because Horse Lords DLC edited a lot a historic files.

Does this mean the murder/illnes/death is predetermined every playthrough? or is it just coincidental explanation of deaths if and when they occur on certain characters?
