@jess, I'd ask about that at the developers forums http://forums.atomictorch.com/ it should be possible to just tick it as active in the mods section when you start a new server.

I can't figure out how to get the mods to be active on my multiplayer server.

@jess, it would have to be modded in as the starter ship, at the moment, I've made it so it's low tech and cheap enough to buy just after you finish the introductory missions. can't remember if it'll appear in the starter system when you start a new game tho.
