Description
The three homes you can build in Hearthfire allow for mead barrels in the basement. These just give you some mead and then they're done. That's boring.

This mod changes the barrels. Now you can brew beer, wine, mead, and cider in them. Each one will take two days to finish and yields 5 bottles.
  • Homemade Beer restores 50% of health and costs 10 Wheat and 5 Purple Mountain Flowers.

  • Homemade Wine restores 50% of magicka and costs 10 Jazbay Grapes and 5 Snowberries.

  • Homemade Mead restores 50% of stamina and costs 5 Honey and 5 Juniper Berries.

  • Homemade Cider restores 25% of health, magicka, and stamina and costs 10 red apples and 5 green apples.

  • Additionally, this mod improves the apiary that you can build at Lakeview Manor. Now, it will produce bees and honeycomb over time. The speed of production depends on the number of bees in the apiary (max speed at 300 or more bees), so fill it with any bees you find or buy to speed up honey collection.

  • Honeycomb isn't honey, though. So now, you can also cook 2 Honeycomb into 1 Honey.

I recommend gtm.steamproxy.vip/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=106889120 More Plants and recipes for Hearthfire so that you can actually grow the remaining ingredients. I added a solution for honey, but this will let you also grow apples.

The mod affects barrels of a specific type, from another mod with a house, the same type of barrels was given by respawning nord mead (and there were a few of them, so 220 mead per respawn every few days) - now not anymore, but you can craft these recipes in them - they are literally everywhere :). If someone has houses - Eastmarh, Hafingarhal and Lakeview retreat, those barrels that gave nord mead will stop spawning and will be for crafting. There may be more.

That's... weird. I have never seen that nor do I know what would cause that.

To add, I MarkedForDelete the two mead barrels and the issue is now gone.

Hi! I love the concept of this mod. Sadly I can't use it. Every time I go down into Lakeview manor's basement after installing I get the brew message interface. Which is fine. What isn't fine is that when I hit "Nothing" the message pops right back up. So the basement is effectively hardlocked. :steamsad: I tried going down with the ingredients to make meed, but now it just pops up "You Mead will be ready in 48 hours" continuously.

Hey, I've just noticed, that's Vilod's Juniper Mead recipe! Ralof will be pleased ♥

I've switched to a SSD and I no longer even have the Creation Kit installed, nor do I plan to come back to modding this game. I personally have used this mod for hours and never seen an issue.

I checked back, but it's not any of the other mods (skill tree balances, pickpocket BRAT, unread books glow, sunlight spell, Freshly Picked). It only ever happened when something should have been brewn and when I unsubscribed to this mod. By the way, I think the display cases are affected too. Is there a debug log I could try to collect for you?

Sounds like that interior cell is resetting, which is odd, because that one doesn't do that. I didn't edit that with this mod.

I'm having a problem with this mod. I can't brew anything. And I know about the missing indicator. Everytime a brew should be ready, the barrel just asks me what to brew, I didn't receive anything. Furthermore, the apiary resets to the default contents.

I gave up and marked the barrels for delete then placed a brewing station from the mod brewmaster.
