This is a map of Iowa City, Iowa. Iowa City has a population of 67,862, making it the 5th largest city in the state of Iowa. It is the principal city in the Iowa City MSA which has a population of 152,586. It is located on the Iowa River, a tributary of the Mississippi. Iowa City is the former territorial and state capitol of Iowa before the capitol was moved to the more centrally located Des Moines. It is the home of the University of Iowa, and is a center of higher learning in Iowa and the midwest.

This map was created using terrain.party. The rail regional rail links are roughly accurate, but the highway system had to be modified to work within the map. Namely US 218 was brought further east so that it would be usable and the junction with I-80 would be useable. An additional spur that does not exist in really life was created of off I-80 so that a highway connection could exist in the starting plot.
