This is rough over view of each charcter avalible character and what their abilties do. I will cover what each ability does both in Tier 1 and Tier 2. I will update this guide as soon as I can each time the game is updated (Iv'e kinda fallen in love with this game). Please let me know if I incorrectly describe a character ability or its effects. Hopefully this can give you a good understanding of most of the character mechanics.

Note: All of the ability names are made up by me, I'll make sure to change them if they are ever offically named.

Rainer, The Guardin


Abilites:

Dash: This attack dashs to (what I can tell) is the closest enemy or enemies. It will leave mark on all enemies hit that can be used to teleport Rainer back to that enemy with the use of his Teleport.

Barrier: This attack places a shield on Rainer which will deplete when he takes damage or when he reactivates the ability. When the shild depletes it will do damage to all enemies near him and knock them back.

Lightning Strike: This ability when activated will teleport Rainer to all marked enemies dealing damage.

Shockwave: This attack shoots a wall or wave out of Rainer. It will damage and pierce through enemies as well as knock them back.
Jake, The Pyromancer


Abilites:

Fireball: Jake shoots a fireball what will do damage to the first enemy it hits. The fireball applies a DoT to which ever enemy is hit. When upgraded to Tier 2 it eplodes on impact do damage and applying the DoT to all enemies hit by the explosion.

Fire Wall: Two firewall appear on eithe side of Jake and will do damage to enemies who run into them. When upgraded to Tier 2 four walls appear instead of two.

Flame Rush: Jake rides on his Phoenix (just so you know its named Tucker) and lays a trail of fire. You CANNOT fly in a stright line you will ride any terrain.

Annihilation Dance: Jake dances (quite well I might add) and due to some sort of magic metors rain from the sky. The metors deal damge but will not go through platforms.

Anya, Ice Mistress


Abilites:

Icicles: Anya shoots 3 (4 when Tier 2) shards of Ice from her person that do damge, pierce enemies, and apply snowflake to all enemies it hits.

Freezing Breath: Anya breathes a mist in front of her that slows enemies and applies snowflake.

Freezing Dash: Anya rides on a ice path in a stright line through enemies. After use it will give increased cooldown reduction. When upgraded to Tier 2 it will do damage to enemies slid through.

Ice Shatter: The Snowflake mark slows down the enemies move speed depending on how full the snow flake is. When activated Anya detonates the Snowflakes on enemies doing damage based on how full the snowflake is. When upgraded to Tier 2 it explodes in AOE.
Borubar, Bugbear Warrior


Abilites:

Mace Swing: Pretty basic Borubar swings his mace do damage to any enemies that are hit.

Block: Borubar blocks ALL attackes from the front. He can still be hit from the top and back. When upgraded to Tier 2 works as thorns dealing % based damage to enemies who attack him. Note he can use this to block boss attacks.

Power Jump: Borubar jumps in a low arc.

Force Blast: Isn't actually a cannon ball but I couldn't think of a other name. He shoots a cannon ball that deals damage and pierces enemies.


Note: Never played Borubar when I had Tier 2 unlocked.
Kheera, The Shamaness


Abilties:

Beam/Knife Throw: When in healer form Keera shoots a projectile that does damage to the 1st enemy hit. When in Voodo form she throws a ritual knife that perices enemies and applies a mark.

Group Heal/Curse: In healer form Keera heal herself. In Voodo form she poisons enemies. This will poison all enemies marked with the knife.

Totem/Blink: When in heal form Keera teleports backwards laying down a totem that buffs defense while standing on it. Addtionally if you shoot her basic attack in healer form through the totem it will buff the attack stunning enemies on hit. In Voodo form she teleports forward dealing damage. She will teleport to enemies marked with the knife attack.

Switch Stance: This ability changes Keera from Healer to Voodo. When upgraded to Tier 2 Keera gets a move speed buff, this can be spammed over and over for infinite move speed upgrade.

Raziel, Fallen Angel


Abilties:
Sword Smash: Raziel attack has two parts on the 1st strike he just deals damage to enemies. On the 2nd strike he heals. When upgraded to Tier 2 the 1st strike applise a bleed.

Railgun: Raziel charges a gun. The guns laser goes farther depending on how long its charged.

Body Slam: Raziel dashes through enemies in a stright line.

Heaven's Force: Raziel slams the ground stunning all enemies in range.

Note:
Raziel is able to double jump.

Unlocked by beating the 1st zone.
Lissy, The Robot Girl


Ablities:

Machinegun: Lissy shoots a gatling gun dealing damage to the 1st enemy hit.

Flame Thrower: Lissy shoots a stream of flames in front of her dealing damage to all enemies hit and applying a DoT.

Charge: Lissy jumps when landing she gains a shield that blocks all ranged attacks during the duration (does not block melee attacks).

Overdrive: Lissy goes into Overdrive increasing the attack speed and damge of all her attacks. This stops her from heating up enabling you to spam her abilites.

Note: Gatling Gun and Flame Thrower can be active at the same time.

Unlocked by beating the 2nd zone.
Shax, Spirit Lord
NOTE: I have not played this character at all in any of the story mode due to current lack of content. All information came from testing in Verus mode.

Abilities:

Spirit Beam: Shax throws projectiles that do damge to the 1st enemy hit.

Terror Blast: Shaw shoots a large projectile that does damage to all enemies hit and pierces enemies. This projectile slows/stuns enemies.

Ethernal Leap: Shax blinks and leaves a Decoy that will deal damge to enemies who touch it. It has a timer that depletes when its gone the decoy will dissapear. The decoy can cast Spirit Throw and Spirit Arrow. Depending on level Shax can have up to four decoys out at once.

Spirit Absorb: Returns the Decoy to Shax. This will heal Shax depending on how many decoys return as well as how much time they have left. While returning the decoy does damage to any enemy it passes through.

Unlocks after the 3rd zone.

Correct me if I'm wrong but does Rainer's tier 2 teleport also crit 100% of the time? Because I was playing horde mode and it seemed that it would crit everytime I used it after getting it to tier 2.

Anya's tier 2 ice dash also reduces the cooldown on her Z attack for a few seconds at the end of the dash.

Bobodur's Swing at Tier 2 inflicts a bleed

At Tier 2 Kheera's heal heals instant + over time.
At tier one only over time.

Also her Healer form shot gets buffed by shooting thorugh allies as well, not only the totem.

Rainer Tier 2 upgrades:

Dash - the mark will explode, dealing ? damage
Barrier - healing under the shield on 10/15/20/25 (1,2,3,4 level)
Lightning strike - cause Silence on enemies (they can't attack you for a short period of time)
Shockwave - ?
