Description
Originally supposed to be a bare bones character creator became a mini-project to test with triggers, variables, and dialogue. This UGC requires Dead Man Switch.

This UGC is primarily used to create characters but it also adds a lively enviroment for a bit of roleplay. The greatest feature in this UGC is having all the necessities to make your character such as nuyen, karma, equipment. Not only do you have access to equipment from the Berlin and Seattle source, but also equipment that weren't available to the player from the DF campaign.

Disappointed buying that grenade launcher from Gunari because you thought it would destroy armor like the enemies do? You can buy that weapon now. It doesn't include all equipment from DF as some seem to be linked with story variables in its campaign. A majority of the equipment are only accessible through dialogue. I did this just to add some sort of balance in pricing as they are pretty powerful and are worth more than assigning the item to a vendor.

There is a testing area, even for deckers, to see your character in action to test hit percentages. I also added some interesting situations, but it's very minor and is optional.

Hope you guys enjoy!

@epsilon
I don't believe the player is able to import their character in a UGC already in progress. I'm only aware that importing a character to a UGC starts the story from the beginning.

That's a good mention and I just did a short test of those weapons in both games. I've never used silenced guns. The weapons players buy from Jin are from the Seattle source only (SR:Returns), which didn't have burst-fire pistols or abilities like flush out or shred armor linked to the weapons. They have different stats between both games.

The HK227 has an ammo account of 24 in SRR, but it has an ammo count of 30 in DF. I also found it wierd that silenced SMGs don't get aimed shot but pistols retain their abilities. Silenced SMGs don't even get scattered shot with one point in SMG skill but if three points are put in, the weapon finally gets scattered shot and it's the only ability it gets.

I was going to add NPC outfits but they refused to show up in the store. It was very shortly tested though. I don't think there is a trigger to add or remove armor points to the player. Selling it through conversation is a good idea but I don't know if I'll add it in the future.

I'm hestitant to criticize such a purpose-built UGC, but I did have an issue.

I haven't tested all the weapons yet, but the Silenced Thunderbolt lacks it's Burst mode.
The silenced HK227 not only lacks firing modes, but seems to use a smaller magazine, which is just odd.

I'd be very happy to see some nonstandard armor show up, just to change up my character's looks. I almost wonder if it'd be possible to create it thrrough conversation variables...
